A Multitude of Sins

I realise that my blog is becoming the 'diary of a long distance runner', which was not my original intention.  I think maybe that i was using the running as a topic to keep the blog alive whilst i thought long and hard about what i really wanted to say.  Truth is i think the running is an obsession behind which i am hiding a multitude of sins.  Oh, the running is for real, i am pounding the streets, i have been injured and i am enjoying the return to form - my great big endorphin fix, and for those that don't recognise the symptoms, as addictive as far nastier bad habits.

It's just that there's a lot more besides...  and for some reason i felt the need to get up in the middle of the night and say all that.  That's blogging folks!

Your blog can be about whatever you want it to be...it's your blog. But, to just get up in the middle of the night and say what you said is a big step on the path to your blog becoming what you intended it to be.

If it's easier to start by saying a little, and occasionally (like this morning's post) then that's fine. There's no rush, only post what you're comfortable with sharing at the time...it will get easier though.

You have the protection of anonymity which is a great help, and your readers are here to help too...if you need/want it.

Thanks for adding me, I have returned the favour.

Take care Skweeky,
Col

p.s. I was timed-out on word verification. This is the new one "canitup"...something you shouldn't do anymore! Let it out! :)

Thanks for that Col. I want the anonymity to be a positive release rather than wall to hide behind or an excuse to mislead.

As for the word verification thing - there are times when it seems to have a mind of its own or refuses to display a graphic at all. As i understand it, it prevents mechanised spammers from running riot through blog-land. As you observe, there are times when the random letters provide a slightly creepy comment on things.
